Success for JOKE Event in London

#CreativeDisruptorsAward for BMW M Power Experience

The Creative Disruptors Awards were present for the first time on the opening night of the ILEA Accelerate Conference in the Ministry of Sounds.

This award honors people and companies in the live communications branch who believe in creativity and inspiration: “Disrupting the status quo to create and contribute towards great events makes the winner stand out amongst the competitors.” We are very proud to have won this Creative Disruptors Award in the category of “Best Creative Use of a Space/Venue” for the BMW M Power Experience 2015 in Las Vegas. Here we transformed a parking deck into a venue for a product launch and also using the real backdrop of the famous Las Vegas Strip.

The international jury was impressed with the powerful reveal created for the BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M. The guests were expecting a first class dinner on the the pool deck of the Mandarin Oriental. Then the space was revealed which gave way to a breathtaking panorama – the City of lights with the huge casinos of MGM Grand and New York New York and their shimmering LED surfaces and illuminated billboards. The guests then discovered they were on the top floor of the Aria Hotel. A large stage with LED band, installed as a special construction, hid the parking deck driveway. But there was not a vehicle or parking deck exit in sight.

With a sophisticated dramaturgy, lighting and LED media show and specially composed sounds, the two new models were surprisingly presented from the perspective of a specifically created image in the foreground and the real backdrop of the glittering Las Vegas panorama. An additional highlight was the presentation of the new BMW M 6, allowing for an attention-grabbing premiere on stage.
