Or how to hold a large event in the midst of an ongoing construction side.

From 27th to 28th May 2010 − a fundraising dinner, the official roof-raising ceremony and the “Day at the Plaza“ brought together approx. 5,300 interested Hamburg citizens, media representatives, those involved with the project, construction workers as well as decision-makers from the business community, politics and the cultural echelon to this construction site. The goal was to organize a high profile, multi-layered media event in the midst of the ongoing construction site, plus making this occasion of the roof-raising ceremony to create enthusiasm beyond the city limits for Hamburg’s newest landmark.
